Dedelei, a formidable warrior of Deris, renowned not just for his prowess in battle, but also for his keen strategy and leadership, met an untimely and controversial end. His sword, as legendary as the man himself, was a two-handed blade known for its razor-sharp edge and exceptional strength. Unlike the common swords of the era, Dedalei's weapon was thin yet possessed uncanny durability and cutting power, able to slice through the thickest armor with ease. This distinct characteristic of the sword made it a coveted relic among warriors and collectors alike. The mystery surrounding Dedalay's death is as compelling as the life he led. After his demise, his body was returned to Ahlibara and laid to rest in a mausoleum. However, the sword was nowhere to be found. It surfaced in the possession of a young man who claimed he was a warrior and defeated Dedelei in battle. The man was, in truth, an assassin. This young man most likely killed Dedalay in his sleep, seizing the legendary sword as proof of his deed. The assassin's life, however, was short-lived, likely ended by those who sought retribution for Dedalay's death, or perhaps by those who desired the sword for themselves. When the assassin's body was discovered, Dedelei's sword had vanished once more, fueling rumors and speculation about its fate. The sword's disappearance has led to numerous tales about its whereabouts and the powers it might hold. Given Dedelei's known dealings with wizards for their services, there has been much speculation about whether the sword was imbued with a powerful spell. Although all true wizards know magic cannot be infused into objects, the unique properties of Dedelei's sword have kept the rumors alive. Some believe that the sword itself was a product of a rare and ancient magic, a relic of a time when the boundaries between the material and the mystical were not so clearly defined. To this day, the whereabouts of Dedelei's sword remain a mystery.
