You are listening to Stories from Väruld. In this episode, Lore, The Birth of Modhir. Before time, there was nothing. Nothing was endless and timeless. Nothing was void without form or content or life. Then time started, and nothing was no longer nothing. In the endless emptiness was now a seed. And the seed grew. It filled the void with space, with something that was. Time gave endlessness an end, and something a beginning. In the middle of something, in the center of space, Modhir began to grow. She was the first of many to bring life to space. Like all things, she was small from the start, but as time passed she matured into the sun, spreading warmth and light. Beyond her reach of warmth and light were coldness and darkness. Time had turned nothing to something, and now something had developed into unities of opposites, light and dark, warm and cold. Mudhir gave birth to ten shhtyanas. Their warmth and light were not as vast as their mothers yet, but they would mature in time. She sent the shhyanas away to lighten the sky and give warmth out in the black space. She liked the result, and from time to time she gave birth to ten new shyanas, which she sent out on their quests to become mothers on their own one day. And as there are thousands of shnyanas out there today, you can see that Maudhir has been there for a long time, caring for space, and therefore caring also for us. Thank you for listening to Stories from Väruld. In the next episode, Prayer for Getting a Child.
